Public Notice - Fima Enterprises (Pty) Ltd
The Non-Bank Financial Institutions Regulatory Authority (the Authority) acting in terms of Section 94 (1) of the Non-Bank Financial Institutions Regulatory Authority Act, hereby informs members of the public that it has temporarily closed Fima Enterprises (Pty) Ltd (Fima) and frozen its bank accounts until there is compliance with Financial Services Laws. Please note that the effect of the temporary closure includes that Inkunzi should cease with immediate effect from doing the following:
- Taking new clients and issuing loans / financing to both existing and new clients.
- Advertising its products to potential or existing clients.
Accordingly, Fima’s clients are advised to deal directly with the entity and that the entity will continue servicing existing clients.
Temporary closure and freezing of Fima’s accounts has no bearing on Fima’s clients to continue servicing their existing loans and obligations with the entity, in line with the agreements between the parties.
